Drag Me Down Mix - Maria Fernanda Pereira - 02-12-2019

Hi everyone. This is my mix for this song. Thanks for listening to it.

RE: Drag Me Down Mix - pmilani - 02-01-2020

Feels like a good 'rough' mix. Overall if I sit in this spot and think how to take it to the next step, this would be where to decide what the song needs. Few things I spot immediately:
- drums sound very dry and need a energy injection; actually in the bridge I hear a bit too much distortion in the kick
- backing vocals need to be more controlled their dynamic range it too wide in relation to other parts
- lead vocal sounds very dry, I think you need some kind of space around it: short reverb, medium reverb, delays... add to taste

Last detail, why did you cut out the song end? sounds weird to me. If you intended to make it feel like a sudden stop, I think it didn't work out, likely due to the arrangement/recording. I'd let everything ring out.
cheers
