Candlebox - Happy Pills - parnellij - 03-11-2019
Been a while since I've dropped by here, but couldn't resist mixing some Candlebox. The mix is pretty old school and midrangy, as my stuff tends to be. Some flanging on the vocals, and some clipping on the drums to get some bite. Oh, that kick drum really sounded like a toy and I took a good chunk out at about 85 Hz to help accentuate the lower frequencies. I also grouped the guitars with the bass and added saturation to the group in an attempt to glue them together.

Wow, we'll call version 1 an example of severe ear fatigue. Let's see if version 2 still sounds good to me tomorrow.
