I was gonna say the grind of the bass, the distortion could come down, but about a minute into the song when more stuff was happening, I was fine with it. You could always use a multiband compressor around 1k on the bass so some of those notes don't pop out as much. Would be a cool way to automate that area without touching the rest of the signal.
