Diesel13: 'Roar - takka360 - 01-10-2019 Had another go at this and spent more time RE: Diesel13: 'Roar - Roy - 01-10-2019 It's a lot dryer approach to this song than I'm used to so far. At first it threw me off but after a while I settled in and I dig it. I'm not a fan of the vocal. The midrange feels a bit 'artificial' as opposed to 'old-timey' which might work thematically. I think approaching the sound from a different angle might work better, like maybe an amp simulator or something. I really like the bass, tone. It's fat but doesn't get in the way of other parts. RE: Diesel13: 'Roar - takka360 - 01-10-2019 Cheers mate, yeah not a big fan of too much reverb myself |
