St Vitus - Word Gets Around (blackbaron1 MIX) - blackbaron1 - 01-11-2013
Hi ,
my name is Marco, I am Italian and I am totally new to this forum.
The music is my passion and I think that the "ART" of Mixing/Mastering is often underestimated or forgotten for the good result of a production.
I am not an expert in this field, i am just an amateur with a lot of passion.
For this song the challenge was to use only FREE plugins (but good, and in some cases.....excellent), as I normally use my "professional" (and very expensive) plugins by Waves and FabFilter.
For this, Internet is a treasure island : you just have to know what to look for.
I hope that the final result will satisfy most of you.

I listened your version.
Levels and sounds are good !
Its a very "evrything upfront" version, loud n bright.
It may be just what you aimed for.
Just for the fun of it, take a listen to my completely different sonic painting.
You hit the limiter too hard for my taste.
