Pretty Saro: 'Carolina In The Pines' - Dangerous - 15-09-2019

Nicely recorded. Enjoyed the vocal harmonies with this one. Very nice.

Love this warm natural sound. It sounds like you've been conservative with compression on acoustic -It remains dynamic and alive but without jumping upfront so much. The only issue I'm hearing is when lead vocal sings alone is just too far away.Maybe some side chain some on the ensemble would be helpful.Or simply automation might be solution.
But overall the mix remains musical and exiting.
Cheers!!

Thanks Davie.T
Yes the lead vox was always going to be an issue not having a dedicated vocal mic. It's just a case of tuning all the elements at play to get the greatest result. Unfortunately there's always going to be a trade off.

Thanks for listening.
