Hi! This mix I liked)) Interesting get the job done .. you feel fine music, and correctly conveys the sound and character of the song .. I would like to emphasize how you have worked with the voice and the atmosphere. This creates a real sense of euphoria and flight. Although the guitar solo seemed to me too sharp and aggressive. I would make it softer and not so bright.

Hey,
thank you for the compliments. The goal of the solo was to make it really boost the song at the end and really make a difference to the consistent atmosphere in the whole verse-chorus-verse-chorus parts, but maybe I overdid it Wink

Sounds good in general here. The gearshift from verse to chorus sounds beautiful!

Occasionally it feels like the vocals might be a tad loud here overall. It's really tricky to balance these kind of vocals, they either sit on top of everything or disappear completely.

I guess this is a matter of taste (since you commented the opposite on my mix) but I felt the lead guitar was quite overpowering here. I personally tried to put the tom loud there and use that as "boost". Through that it's also easier to balance the last section (which now feel really powerless in you mix once the loud solo stops) against the solo section.

Hi Paul

Kick drum sounds a bit heavy in the mix. Don't think it's too loud, maybe just the attack that's too prominent.
Snare in my opinion is also too "big" in the choruses (but that's just my taste)

I got the idea that you like the solo guitar in the end just as much as I do. Big Grin
You did the same thing I did, and that was to have it too loud/prominent.
In my opinion. Just cut it back a bit, the reverb should make it fit nicely!

Like the way you gave the chorus sections so much life!

Good work man, keep it up!
