OMG! I could listen to this tune all day long! I had another mix up but deleted it....was just not happy with it. Started from scratch. This one is much better. I could still spend another 4 or 5 hours on it to make it better but it's as good as it's gonna get because I have other projects I need to work on, etc.
I wanted this to sound more like a "studio" recording and not a "live" recording. Live recording with no isolation booths in a small studio are a nightmare. Sooooooooooo, I spent endless hours messing with this. I hope the work paid off. There are still a bunch of things bothering me, like some bass resonances, better vocal automation, guitar approach (I went with full chorusing on both guitars and it sounds a bit muddy but somehow it works for me....the guitars sound more like keys at times), and other things too numerous to mention. But I had FUN with this.
The band is great! Everyone is top notch!!! Much luck and success to them.
