Kat Wright - Contact - lllboNeslll - 31-07-2019

My attempt to mix this song.

You win the loudness wars.
Great width and good depth. The vocal has some wool on it. A very unique and interesting take and generally a good listen.

Hi Mixinthecloud
Thanks for the feedback!

Sounds pretty good.
I got the feeling I was sitting close to stage very close to the monitors Smile
Generally a big, but slightly roomy, sound.
I like it.

One thing I did not like was what sounded like mp3-compression artifacts during some of the cymbal-hits. I don't know how you exported your mp3, but it didn't sound like high-bitrate to me during those parts (although the file-size indicates you are using 320kbps or something like that)

There is an unbearable big ass honky resonance in the midrange. Sounds like you mixed it on bad headphones for at least few hours without any breaks or in a very bad room.
