I'm Alright Mix - Nick - 12-07-2019

Probably spent 2-3 hours tops on this one.

Tell me what you think! Wink

RE: I'm Alright Mix - Shul - 12-07-2019

Hey nick!

Balance is pretty decent.
*Voice sounds too weird after a while with that phone fx. I'd try a more natural tone on it to blend better with the rest of the mix.
*snare is very thin and too in the background. I'd bring it up a bit more to contribute more snap to the drums.

other than that this is sounding pretty good.
Also try hard panning some things. It will open space in the center and you'd be surprice how good things sound when you hard pan things.

Not sure what you mean by phone fx. I didn’t add any weird reverb/delay or anything unless you’re talking about eq.

Thanks for the honesty, though! I probably should’ve spent more time on this one.
