Another Flesh & Bone Mix - Alan Twelve - 09-07-2019 Hi All I did this a few weeks ago and forgot all about it! I see it as a first draft: still a few problems to iron out, but I'm fairly pleased with it, so I thought I might as well share. The original track has a great mix, so I decided not to compete directly... I was hearing shades of Tom Waits, M Ward, Sparklehorse, so they were my guides, hence the different approach to the vocal, and I tried to use (and not use) those re-amped guitars to give a bit more dynamic range. I'm not sure that I was all that successful, but it's a decent starting point and I'll certainly come back to this and do a remix at some point. I hope you enjoy it, and I would welcome any feedback. |
