Inner Circle mix - jamesw1 - 20-06-2019
Here is my mix of "Inner Circle". I sort of drew some inspiration from the band Tool as a reference point in mixing and mastering this song. I tried a sort of sweep through boosting different frequencies in certain parts with the guitar, which I think kind of sounds cool, but the only issue was making sure it didn't get to loud so the master track was getting too much gain reduction. Also, I did not use any of the drum trigger tracks because I felt the regular recorded drums were better without them. Let me know if there are any other things that could change to make it better.
