Mods - I think we need a thread cleanup....

Hi Vicenzajay... ah I thought it sounded familiar - you remixed the stems by the sound of it...

It seems you didn't really used the stems to practice mastering though, which was kind of the reason they were provided

You've really pushed up the percussion quite a bit, and I found that a bit too distracting. It's designed to be rather subtle in the production.

As for the spam in your thread... Well, as a mod, you'll be happy to know that I banned the user as soon as I saw the spam. However, I don't have sufficient permissions to delete posts... So until Mike sees it and deletes it, unfortunately it will remain for the moment.

No worries - just wanted to alert folks to the spam.

For this mix, I wanted to remain fairly true to your vision - thus the stems (given that you had also printed a nice set of effects/etc.)...with a bit of positioning/situating/emphasizing on my own. I suppose I really liked the "not so common" percussion...I don't get a huge number of chances to record/mix shakers/etc.):-)

Thanks again!
