My turn - Roberba - 15-05-2019 Fun stuff. Mixing something with so much bleed really tests your skills. The vocals were a bit tricky in that they were a bit muddy and there are a lot of plosives. Automation, proper compression, and EQ to get rid of the chest resonance seemed to tame it. The mandolin was a very nice touch, I just wish it were more consistent through the performance. Guitar was automated and eq'd to fit. Careful with the heavy distorted second part of the solo! Being a bass player I'm very sensitive to those parts. I like how I was able to fit the bass with the kick. I'm totally open to comments. |
