FytaKyte - Bitter - Devilskater666 Mix - Devilskater666 - 29-04-2019

Hi Guys,

V2 of my take on mixing this great Song.

As usual please tell me what you think

Note: I've not done any automation yet so please tell me what you think this song needs...

Edit 1: (Hopefully) got rid of the Vocal boxiness and done some automation

Andi

Hi! This is a really good mix. The balances and the energy are absolutely on-point.

The one thing that stands out as needing attention is the lead vocal. It seems to have fair bit of boxiness/muddiness that robs it of clarity. I would imagine the solution is some fairly basic "sweep and destroy"-type reductive eq.

Nice work so far!

Thank you for the feedback.
After finally hearing this in my Car I totally agree with you on the Vocal issue!

Now on to fixing this ;-)
