lmat mixes - lmat - 16-04-2019

It took me a while to convince myself that the vocal parts were actually aligned properly. I began my adjusting the vocal parts a second or so later because when the chorus came up, the rhythms seemed wonky. After a while, I came to accept them as they were, but the groove was so loose it took a while for it to gel in my head.

This one took a little longer. It was challenging for me to get the levels *and* sound quality right. Any time I would change a plugin (compression, EQ, etc.), the levels would be wrong again. This was particularly irksome because the levels were largely automated.

I worked with the vocals quite a bit to get a sound with which I was pleased.

I left the piano pretty low in the mix. I didn't care for the piano sound; it seemed immature and distracting, but maybe others don't agree.

Anyway, let me know what you think, and especially what you think I missed!
