Prodigal Son - gloukin mix - glukin - 09-04-2019 Here is my quick mix, let me know how it sounds. Thanks! V2 updated based on Roy's observations. RE: Prodigal Son - gloukin mix - Roy - 09-04-2019 The mix works fine. The snare ring stands out to me. It's not so bad/noticeable as the song goes on but it's there straight away at the top and stick out. The guitar in the b-verse (gtr 2, I think) is loud. As is guitar 4. I like the aggressive push that guitar 4 brings but it might be over the top at the moment. The lead vocal could come up a little but isn't bad where it is. Hope that helps. I updated the mix based on the above. I wanted the snare to ring, it brings character to the piece in my opinion. RE: Prodigal Son - gloukin mix - Roy - 10-04-2019 The second mix definitely feels better. |
