Hi All,
Here is my attempt at this song,by the way thank you to the artist for providing these tracks for learning and mixing purposes.
I have not played around with any audio files for well over two years, wasn't until i recently spoke to an old friend, that helped re ignite the passion.
I personally think the audio files were tracked pretty well and the performance and song writing are spot on for this style.
I tried to keep the drums punchy and create ambient spaces around it as the music spoke to me.
My set up is a Windows machine with Pro Tools and a bunch of plug ins, mixing on some old Denon headphones..it's been a while but i did enjoy the process.
I would love to hear what some of the feedback may be as i am here for the learning and creative experience.
