Evening Darling -- 'Passenger Side - Lethan - 25-03-2019

Hi guys,
Dropping my mix of this nice track. Let me know what do you think.

The balance between the elements is fine I miss the second guitar though. The guitar on the left is a bit edgy around 2K and the whole mix could have some sheen in the very topend.

Cheers!

Good BV's treatment! Some ugly sibilance in the vocal, probably overexposed because, like Andy says, it seems like there's not much happening in the topend. And it's true the second guitar sound was pretty useless, but the track feels kinda unglued with so few parts and such huge drums.

The snare sound has a cool 80's vibe without obvious gated reverb.

Mid channel low end has way too much ooomph-boomp? I'm not a fan of such prominent kick and snare aesthetics but that's a taste thing, still I think there's some nasty boxy frequencies in that kick! Thou come to think of it, it helps disguise the crappy bass playing.
