First time I’ve been able to recycle (within reason) channel strips, so I’m glad this didn’t take crazy time for me to finish.
The beat was pretty lit, but with those minimalistic keys, I felt something had to blanket the vocal, so most stereo spreading had to go. I could have saved the ride for the last chorus, maybe?. Cool overdriven swells, btw.
Sorry I couldn’t make out where the band came from at first (totally deaf for accents). Kiwis rock!
