DarkRide_HammerDown - LeadProductions - 08-02-2019 Hey guys, I wanted to make an experiment with that song. So I made a rough mix and let Izotope Neutron and Ozone make the rest for me. Just wanted to see how good (or bad) a Mix can be made by a machine. I only loaded Neutron on the single tracks and started the track assistant. After that I added a few Reverbs and Delays for some wetness, that is all. In my opinion it became an awesome result (for a machine). The biggest thing I miss is the feeling in this Mix, it can only be made by a human. So let me hear what you guys think!!! RE: DarkRide_HammerDown - Blitzzz - 11-02-2019 To me, it sounds like everything is slightly out of phase. Toms are missing punch and definition, and the Snare has a weird reverb that doesn't sit well with the rest of the kit and the other instruments. I´m pretty sure it would sound better without using neutron at all. Simple volume automation (the good old fader rides), low and/or highpasses and the right reverbs and delay should produce a better, more musical result. But that's just me |
