Very interesting, I feel like this is a very minimalist mix. As if you just used levels and panning. Maybe very light effects, if any. Am I correct?
I like it, very unique for sure! Most mixes are going for a dreamy/reverb-filled mixed and you went the opposite direction. Very dry, intimate.
Definitely an interesting take.

Thanks for the feedback yea i only used fx on the vocals not too much didn't want to saturate it. Felt the original instruments gave the song life. Did an update cleared it up a bit. Nice song BTW!

Just be careful with the compression. Did you side-chain the kick?
