Living in the City - mix by manuh - ManuelSchwarz - 02-12-2018 Hey, I have not much experience in mixing but I had to try this great song. Thanks for sharing this multitrack! RE: Living in the City - mix by manuh - KMuzic - 04-12-2018 Hi Manuel balance seems to be good, sounds a bit mono, maybe pan the guitars out a bit more. good job Cheers K RE: Living in the City - mix by manuh - Deliza - 04-12-2018 Qué pasa, Manu. Too be honest, I didn't like it but it's just because of the all over the place reverb. If I ignore it, I can see how you got the balances pretty right (vocal is low and organ too loud, though), so the foundations for a good mix are there. But the reverb makes it feel as if you couldn't get tickets for the show and had to listen from the end of a loooong hall beside. I'd try cutting the low end from the reverb return (a lot) and see what happens, though it'll still need some adjustments. You're not just putting a reverb in the stereo bus, are you? RE: Living in the City - mix by manuh - Judders - 05-12-2018 Yep, I thought exactly the same as Deliza. the balances are generally good though, so take heart! |
