Sleep By The Fire, Bloom By The Water Mix - JRod93 - 21-11-2018 I'd love some feedback on my mix of this song! It was a blast to mix. It was produced really well and recorded well too. Any feedback is welcome! RE: Sleep By The Fire, Bloom By The Water Mix - FytaKyte - 21-11-2018 Hey JRod - sounding good. The balances sound nicely done & the vocals are controlled and present. The lower register vocals at the beginning of the song have a little bit of mud in the low mids that could improve their clarity if it was cut a little. The mix overall has a bit of a buildup in the low mids that is just veiling things a tad. - that 250-350hz area maybe. On a "bigger picture" scale, the dynamic contrasts between the verses and choruses could be amplified a bit more. At present, the chorus doesn't seem to hit as hard as it should - maybe some automation would help there. Nice work! |
