#21 Not Alone - Reaper plugins vs 3rd party - Deliza - 01-10-2018 I wanted to compare performance between different OS and CPU's, and what could be better for that than this ultra wet-pants-hot track? First mix done in Reaper with nothing more than stock plugins and a couple of free IR's. Now I have a USB stick with a portable Reaper installation and all the session files, so I can use it in any computer to quickly judge performance. Reaper is a neat handy tool. And then I just couldn't let it go and remade the mix with my usual plugins. I was a little less of a hack on this (there's even some drum replacement), so clearly this is no fair comparison, but I thought it might be fun to upload both mixes. V2, that ’Soul Glo' ending part I'm pretty happy with. Your feedback will be received as a precious gem or an Infinity Stone! |
