I thought it’d be mandatory for a first step to choose a rhythm lead between congas or snaredrum and I fancied to give the latter the front spot, giving the tune more of a samba feeling, I’d say. The author, Alejandro, seems to prefer both parts on equal terms, but...
Cool guitars, a groovy snaredrum and crazy marimbas; it was really fun to play with. And then I had to beef up the bass, taking away any breath from the mix. So not my best job, this one deserved better.
