Peter White - The Blues is a Lady - Sasquatch1974 - 23-08-2018 Went for a fairly rocky sound to this one. I was thinking along the lines of AC/DC - Hells Bells or ZZ Top. RE: Peter White - The Blues is a Lady - azwayne - 24-08-2018 A touch muddy... I'd suggest lowering the level of the vocal a touch. Possibly adding a little bit of a short delay as well, just to try to help it not poke out quite as much. The fills on the lead electric guitar can stand to come out a little more too. Perhaps can be done by trying to make sure that if the vocal is dark, the fills are bright or vice/versa. I like the delay at the end of the vocal part of the bridge. RE: Peter White - The Blues is a Lady - Sasquatch1974 - 24-08-2018 Appreciate the reply. On listening now, the vocals are too loud. I did add a slap delay and a touch of reverb to it, but didn't want to put too much on. I had the fills louder at one point, but then second guessed myself... Again, cheers |
