Mandubien's mix - Mandubien - 16-07-2018

Hi friends !

Wow, this one was very hard ! Particularly the drums which were a nightmare...

- Drums : I TOTALLY replaced everything. Each shell was replaced by GGD samples and the overheads was totally rewrote with midi samples. I manually added each cymbal hit and get rid of the original OHs track. I added room samples as well. It took some time, but that was definitively better at the end.

- Bass : nothing special

- Guitars : I only used the DIs with amp sims.

- Vocals : I wish they tracked doubles and even backing vocals to thicken the whole performance.

I hope you will like my version, and any feedback will be welcomed Smile

Cheers
Florian

Hello nice mix. Drums are sounding MIDI like since you spent so much time writing midi drums i wish you did some variations and used quantize. If you are going to go back to this for v2 you should definitely work on drum tone aswell. others sound great already.

Well I actually replaced the shells with Trigger and manually replaced the cymbals by hand. So it's the same performance. I did not totally rewrite from scratch.
