#11 Fragile Thoughts - Going after 'Nevermind', got 'In Utero' - Deliza - 13-07-2018 Maybe it’d be wiser to say I was all for a Steve Albini sound, Tommy Wiseau style ("Thank you for loving my comedy!"). But truth is I had "Come as you are" as reference, so I guess I kinda failed. And I was actually half satisfied until I played Olli H's kickass 'Nirvana mix'. That was humbling and painful. Still, I learnt something and that’s not to get too deep into drum mixing before making sure rest of the tracks are not bleeding crazy! Playa weekend, everyone! RE: Fragile Thoughts - Going after 'Nevermind', got 'In Utero' - Dangerous - 02-08-2018 This is a masterful mix Deliza. Everything just works! Love the width, placement and the depth, in-particular with the drums and guitars. The drum / bass relationship is tight and and in tune with the style of the song. For me everything just works. Happy Days You know your thing Deliza Well Done. RE: Fragile Thoughts - Going after 'Nevermind', got 'In Utero' - Deliza - 02-08-2018 ¡G R A C I A S, Dave! |
