MERC Music - Knockout - 2nd site mix - schwiz - 08-07-2018 These are by far some of the most fun multi's to mix that are available on this site. Very well recorded and edited tracks which include lots of layers. I had a ton of fun mixing this track. If you have some feedback on this, I'd love to hear it. I have been mixing rock and metal mostly for the last couple years so it was fun to do something different. RE: MERC Music - Knockout - 2nd site mix - 1Hunnid Studios - 23-11-2019 Awesome job mixing this track. It's interesting to hear your approach on mixing hip-hop as somebody who works on rock and metal. I like that the beat is very powerful and the tuba/brass is upfront. Personally, I would probably raise the vocals about 3-4 decibels overall, though. I also made a version of this mix and it was difficult to make the vocals pop through. RE: MERC Music - Knockout - 2nd site mix - illsoulprod - 25-09-2020 the vocals are buried in a sea of frequency masking and the lead vocals are cut too much and thus sound thin. try a vocal parallel to help keep the low end of the vocal intact while still getting them to pop out. right now they sound thin and essy |
