Father Never Loved Me - Laurence Bush - 19-06-2018 I've gone for a SSL 4000G mixing desk setup by using the bx_console_G for each channel. Whilst a lot of other mixes have gone for quite a few FX and a lot of reverb, I went for a close-up gritty feel with a White Stripes vibe. The first bounce I made had no reverb bus at all, but on second listening it became obvious it was leading to more complications. There is a very short reverb bus in this with almost all instruments bussed to it in very small amounts. Feedback is welcome. I'm aware I still need to work on mixing drums a little better, but the vibe is going where I wanted. RE: Father Never Loved Me - Minstrel - 21-06-2018 Sounds Great !, I like it ! Good job ! RE: Father Never Loved Me - kapu - 25-06-2018 sounds good! maybe take cymbals down a bit? great work! ^_^ RE: Father Never Loved Me - Laurence Bush - 03-10-2018 (25-06-2018, 12:38 AM)kapu Wrote: sounds good! maybe take cymbals down a bit? great work! ^_^ Definitely noted on cymbals. They end up always being a little too loud, but having heard some good mixes with less of the cymbals I'm certainly going to make sure of it next time. RE: Father Never Loved Me - underfoot42 - 04-10-2018 Great mix. Sounds very open. I dig it. |
