Still Flyin' - first mix on Cambridge - roke - 24-05-2018

First mix posted on Cambridge.

Looking for suggestions on where I can improve (don't hold back) - particularly interested if anyone has any balance and EQing suggestions.

Particularly found the vocals challenging trying to get them to sit right and getting the balance between the lead and the 2nd lead/harm.

Thanks for listening.

I think your drum mix is the best thing about this - nice job. I think you need to fill in more of the other elements of the song. Everything but the drums sounds fairly thin and there is a lack of the sub bass.

Curious why you chose not to automate the panning of the guitar solos?

I would suggest you listen to the original mix on YouTube.
It's a great mix and definitely top notch mix to use as reference. This is good as a base but everything sounds very tiny. Guitars need to be boosted..
