The Balazs 'Own Way To Boogie' - Stu Morton - 10-04-2018 I mixed and mastered Own Way to Boogie. The Master isn't "overly crushed" but I like it. Great Piano and Drums on this one. I didn't use the drummers Kick. Substituted a kick from Superior Drummer 3, otherwise I used the instruments played by the band. RE: The Balazs 'Own Way To Boogie' - Dangerous - 11-04-2018 Sounds Good Stu. Listening with headphones, just wondering if the piano is overpowering the mix a little. Mainly with the lower register and the fullness of the sound. Nice work, Well Done. You're right, the Piano is a bit loud on my headphones, although I like the bass line and lower register in the piano together but the piano bass could be EQ'd down a bit. RE: The Balazs 'Own Way To Boogie' - RSMorton - 02-12-2018 I've remixed this using iZotope's Tonal Balance plugin. Changed the kick, EQ'd the Piano bass and a few other changes. I think it's better than my original posting. Thanks for the input. Stu |
