Uber-Newbie: Jesper Buhl Trio mix - MrOParty - 25-03-2018
Just starting out on my mixing journey, so go easy on me!
Temporarily using some rubbish Logitech laptop speakers, which has made the mix somewhat lacking in bottom end. (All recommendations for entry-level nearfields welcome - looking at Yamaha HS7s with a keen eye...)
Individual track compression used on Piano (4:1) and Upright (2.7:1) and a NY Buss comp on the drums (heavy at 19.7:1)
Had all instruments bussed into a small room reverb to glue them together / give that smokey jazz club vibe, and a soft master comp at 1.5:1.
All feedback greatly devoured!
