RE: Mixdown of Directions - davemcg61 - 08-04-2018 Hi Trey, a couple of things immediately noticed; a lot of excess in the vocals "ch" and "sh" - cut it by a bunch, like -12dB around 7kHz. The same with the snare rim shots; bring the 5kHz peaks down a bit. I found a -5dB cut works. You'll gain a lot of headroom to make the lead and background vocals up a bit. I hope this helps. |
