RE: Street Noise-Revelations - Voelund - 06-08-2013

Sounds clear open and man its good to hear some tape saturation :-) Pleasant to listen to.
You may know I am a sucker for detail, and I think the organ could play a bigger role in the instrumental piece around 3.00. From the preview i remember it bein a bit outa tune ?
The conga were a bit hard to place in the stereo field when they played alone, could there be phase issues ? I have a impulse response from an EMT 250 with very short like .4 tail. I love that one on percussion. Sendin it through a similar mono verb might make it easier to place and add a bit more top end. I love the way you made the organ sound. Nearly reminds me of Focus and Silvia :-) I miss a bit crash cymbals but as I remember there is not much to grab from the overheads. Did you notice there are 2 identical overhead tracks ?
Ive started mixin this one too yesterday. Now I have somthin to aim for. Thx a bunch for the listen
Good job Don !

Nice feeling in your mix. Sounds good to me. I like the bass rumble in low frequencies. Sounds like some kind of stereo effect. Suits this song.
