Walkie Talkie - Stoman mix - stoman - 05-08-2013
Another evening, another quick mix.
This song is absolutely not my usual comfort zone (that would rather be classic/progressive rock, folk and singer/songwriter), but I had some fun with it for an hour or two.
I'm not sure if I'll ever refine the mix. I do like the song, but I think I prefer mixing rock songs.
Anyway, I thought I'd share the outcome of my bricolage with you.

This is the same mix with A LOT more dynamic range. Everybody wants loud stuff nowadays, but IMO the dynamic mixes sound much better.

definitely enjoying DR in mix 2....did you replace drums? sounds solid compared to original papery samples...nice
