Also treated drum overheads with a compander kinda thing from the Yamaha mixer, it did wonders for the cymbals I think.

Great work with both mixes, quite contrasting.
For me and my ears Niels, I think I like the first mix is preferable. I like the sparse arrangement which naturally gives a nice focus to the vocal performance. I also like the smoother and more relaxed sound. Nicely managed.Big Grin In comparison the second mix feels a bit tight and squared up maybe too percussive. Like it's compressor driven. As I said, quite contrasting.

Just my thoughts. Thanks for the enjoyable listen.
