Ripe: '4 Out of 10' (Greg mix) - Greg - 09-01-2018

Hi. It's my mix. Please listen and discuss. It seems to me that vocal is missing something, but can't understand what.

The mix sounds pretty good to me.

I like the vox the way it is now, but if you’re not happy with the vox, maybe it could come up 2dbs in the soft parts and at the same time some cut around 600-1000 hz to give more precence and low end. It might work, but I'm not sure, just guessing. If you give it more presence in soft parts, be careful so that the loud parts don’t go too harsh.

Here and there in the some words 250-300 hz seems go give a bit humming muddy sound. For example 0:18 ”sinner babe”. If you try to catch those issues with sharp dynamic eq, then your vox sound would remain full in other parts where there’s no low-mid problems audible.

In some "weaker" words it maybe enought just to automate them up.
