Ripe: '4 Out Of 10' - tucks mix - tucks - 06-01-2018 ... used to use Logic ;-) And also my very first post here and the very first mix in my new basement. Not yet used to it really... There is a little pause at the very beginning, could not find the button in Pro Tools to only bounce a part - sorry for that. Any feedback is welcome, thank you in advance! RE: Ripe: '4 Out Of 10' - tucks mix - Rootwitch - 08-01-2018 Sounds really good. My advice - Compress the vocals a bit more. Because it's a live recording, on a dynamic mic, with the singer moving his head all around, the recording of the vox isn't consistent. So, they needs lots of compression. Also, a DeEsser. "Wouldn'tCH'you want to lie down with the devil" - Stuff like that really pops the ears. RE: Ripe: '4 Out Of 10' - tucks mix - tucks - 10-01-2018 Hi Rootwitch, thank you very much for your feedback. I think I will do another version with an DeEsser. I haven't really heard that on my monitors, but after your feedback and some listening on other systems I agree with you. I can't really remember if I already have a compressor on the vocals, I think I just automated the volume...
