Mix One Minute Smile - Edu - 19-07-2013 Hi everyone, just finish this mix and in order to improve i would like to know what do you think i can improve (: Thank you! RE: Mix One Minute Smile - sano - 19-07-2013 I like the drums they sound nice and punchy, though there seems to be a lack of hi end in your mix making it lack clarity. Very punchy mix! Your song definitely has a lot of energy. I would increase the volume of the vocals and of the guitars with regards to the other instruments. You can definitely hear them, but I think that your mix would better suit the genre of music if they were a lot more present (especially the vocals). I would also try playing with the song's overall EQ. You can check your song against similar professionally mixed songs (from Paramore for example), and I think that you'll find your song has a lot more low end and a lot less high end in comparison. |
