Jet B - To the Wolves (Don Perignon Mix) - Don Perignon - 16-10-2017

I'm a huge fan of rock music. I had parents that had a classic rock station on every morning. However, this is my second or third rock track I've worked on. Any suggestions/comments would be appreciated!

Sounds really nice Don. Good balance, arrangement and energy. I haven't worked with this track but I imagine it must be a difficult task to sit the vocal in against the heavy guitars parts. The only suggestion I can think of is maybe to sure up the backing vocals a little more with some extra compression, just to help it sound more solid and grounded behind the main vox. Well Done. Great work.

Thank you Dave! Actually, getting the vox to cut through wasn't as challenging as getting that piano to sit properly. For the vox to cut through, I routed the guitars and pianos to a bus and used a multiband compressor to duck around 2k and sidechained that to the vox. But, now that I listen to it, I definitely should bring the backgrounds up.
