Sascha mix - jeremias666 - 15-07-2013 Here is my mix. Nice song. I went more for a Fugazi vibe. RE: Sascha mix - takka360 - 15-07-2013 Nice sounding mix this, nice balance also. Not too wet not too dry.Good job RE: Sascha mix - sano - 15-07-2013 I think you captured the vibe really well. Great Job !! RE: Sascha mix - Amphibian - 01-08-2014 Really nice mix, no comments more than that. RE: Sascha mix - Laurence Bush - 03-08-2014 Yeah, definitely a good vibe with excellent bass. RE: Sascha mix - Vosk0z - 16-08-2014 Nice vibe for sure. Love how the drums sound! I wish i could mix them like you (any hints perhaps? ) On my setup there's a lotta bass and some ringing freqs on the guitars' side. But definitely a good mix RE: Sascha mix - jeremias666 - 16-08-2014 On drums i used bfd joe barresi samples to augment them, mostly i use them as reverb/rooms sound and some definition, because i dont like fake reverb on drums. And i didnt use much compression on them. The samples gives consistency so you dont need to compress for consistency and i use transient designer a lot to bring attack and/or sustain on close miked elements. I didnt use compression on any close mic or overheads, just on rooms and some parallel compression on kick snr, and a little bit of overheads to glue the whole kit. And some very little bus compression (2db max) with some ssl style plug in. I agree the bass is a little overdone and the guitars i made them agressive on the midrange on purpouse, i like them, but in some spots i should automate them down to tame them when they get too midrangey. Thanks for the review. |
