Just a little mix I knocked up while wearing headphones at 5am so as not to disturb the slumbering family.

There is a lot of 2 bus compress there!I would like to hear a version without that much 2 bus process!
I feel it really kills an interesting sound there!

I agree with gopener about the compression. It sounds to me like the kick is causing it to pump. It sounds like a great mix other wise.

It is a bit over compressed to my ears, sounds like squashed mix, louder is not better. You should not be hitting no more than 1db, 1.5db of gain reduction on the master buss. I understand you were using headphones but most of time the don't translate very well on other systems. Good effort!! I'm sure the remix will better, keep it up.
