Wealthy In Time, Woodfire - giulioscatto - 10-09-2017

Hey there, this is a first impression of this song. Toms are missing, kick is resonant at low frequencies.. I focused on EQ to separate the sounds and I put some compression here and there. I used no reverb and effects, no automation, no editing, this is not a "final" mix indeed. I think the kick need more attack, and the guitar could be more "open" and clear, I don't know.
What do you think?

How did you treat the kick and the bass?

Honestly i think if you pan your guitars out everything should be sitting pretty good. unless your going for a mono mix of course. cheers!
