First Mix Feedback - Alexiou981 - 12-08-2017

Hi everyone,
I just finished my first mix and although I have followed the whole process of the book till the end. However, I decided to upload the Dry version of the track (without any reverbs, delay, stereo expanders etc.) since the Wet version seemed to be much worse than the first one.

Hey Alexiou,

nice first mix.

Suggestions:
- Push back the vocal a bit more, I think the track would have more intensity if it sounded like the singer really had to work to be heard over the guitars.
- Also automate it so that the loud parts are a bit quieter.
- Guitars sound very "cleaned-up" which is good, but I think more fullness (lows/low-mids) would help to make it feel really heavy.
- Panning on the Drums is wierd. Ride pretty much in the center, toms all over the place. I would try recreating a real drumset, either from Drummers or Audiences POV.
- Bass is audible but not really distinct. Would like more definition.
- Also uplaod the Wet version aswell please.

Here's the wet version as well. Please let me know in which one I should apply the changes according to the feedback you gave me.
