All Hands Lost-Ambition - Ohbeejuan - 09-08-2017

I thought I'd try something new here because I really wanted to make this thing as aggressive as I could get it. I'm still not happy with it. I ended up bouncing and mastering all of the section parts and then bringing them back in all together as stems. It helped the guitars and the bass a ton but it killed the bass drum. I ended up adding the bd back on top of everything and using a side chained compressor to dip most of the song 1dB every time the bd kicked in. That helped and I think it turned out okay. Personally if I had recorded this I would have used a bd that was tuned a bit higher and had some meat in the mid-lows.

Noticed a nice squeaky noise in the bd and got that addressed for round 2.
