Wealthy In Time - sano - 01-08-2017

Great song, enjoyed mixing it !

Overall, it works. It can be a little more "hi-fi". The mix of instruments are ok but lack excitement. It's a start but could be taken to another level.

Hi Roy

Thanks for your comments. My vision for this mix was band in a room which is a departure for me as I feel I polish (or ruin) too much sometimes. So it was a rather quick mix for me.

Instruments lacking excitement, well I probably guilty of sucking a lot of the upper mids to "try" achieve smoothness in the mix.

I like that the mix feels authentic and nice "in the room" feeling, but as you said in recent posts i think it lacks a little bit of 3-4 k in the drums, atleast in the mono elements.
