A Mix and some words - marsonic - 27-04-2017

Hello People!,, What a Great Idea, just found this site and this thread,, Ive been Mixing Live sound for 25+ Years and did Small Project recording in the ADAT Days, All Outboard rack Gear, no Plugins No Copy and Paste,,This is a Relatively new Process for me,,I have been doing VO Work with my own Voice and a Good mic,, so Very Little mixing involved!,, so , to get back into it and to keep my confidence level to where I can work with the Kids These Days!!..HAHA,,

Anyhow on to this mix,, the vocals are a challenge in this mix, Im sure more can be done to each line to make it really pop through,, but I really dont feel like spending that time,, instead Im mixing what I have,, With some Basic EQ Compression, Reverb and Panning, Much as I would a live show,, I am pretty happy with the drum sound I was able to get,, I like CHunkyier Guitars, so I Qd in some 250 and dropped some 1k but Panning them Wide helped out alot (my first mix was very light on guitar)...Any comments are appreciated,,

Im using Reaper with Focusrite, TDK, and Tokyo Dawn Labs Plugins
