Perpetual Escape - Sin Six - Mix by RomoDrummer - RomoDrummer - 26-04-2017 Just practicing my mixing skills. Please don’t judge me.. Ok, just a little bit . This is not really something I would generally mix, but I was bored so I decided to mix it. Happy Listening https://youtu.be/ABi8CnDjPpk RE: Perpetual Escape - Sin Six - Mix by RomoDrummer - Mandubien - 07-12-2017 Hey ! Thank you for mixing our song Overall the main issue I hear is the compression on the drums. The snare is very "clicky" and has no body. The kick as too much "oomph" but no attack at all. Same for the toms. I like the vocal treatments but they sound a bit loud (especially some backing vocals) and disconnected. Guitars are a bit agressive for my taste but they fit pretty well in your mix. When I mixed the drums, I finally used samples on the snare because it was not the best tone I had in mind for this song. While I'm pretty sure we can achieve a nice tone with it, I think it will be way much more easier if we use a nice full bodied sample. Keep it up man ! |
